We cordially invite you to attend the "13th American Healthcare & Hospital Management Summit; (13AHSUCG2023)," which will be conducted from November 15–18 as a hybrid event in Los Angeles, USA, The primary focus of the conference will be "Connecting Leaders in Healthcare Transformation and Bringing Learning to Life, Together toward Building Quality for a Safer Healthcare."
Your general health and well-being depend heavily on your dental and oral health.
Poor oral hygiene has been related to heart disease, cancer, and diabetes as well as tooth cavities and gum disease. The commitment to keeping your teeth and gums healthy is lifetime.
Early adoption of good oral hygiene practises, such brushing, flossing, and reducing sugar intake, will make it simpler for you to prevent expensive dental surgeries and long-term health problems.
The health of the teeth, gums, and the entire oral
facial system that allows us to smile, speak, and chew is referred to as oral health. Cavities (tooth decay), gum (periodontal) disease, and oral cancer are some of the most common diseases affecting our oral health.
Bacteria are normally kept under control by the body's natural defences and
good oral health care, such as daily brushing and flossing. However, without
proper oral hygiene, bacteria levels can rise to the point where they can cause
oral infections such as tooth decay and gum disease.
What are the top five oral health problems?
Dental caries (tooth decay), periodontal diseases, oral cancers, oro-dental trauma, cleft lip and palate, and noma are the most common causes (severe gangrenous disease starting in the mouth mostly affecting children)
Signs of oral and dental issues
Do not put off seeing your dentist until you develop symptoms.
Usually, if you visit the dentist twice a year, they can spot an issue before you even notice any symptoms.
You should schedule an appointment with your dentist right away if you see any of the following warning signs of dental health problems:
·
Oral ulcers, sores, or painful spots that don't go away after a week or two
Persistent foul breath bleeding or inflamed gums after brushing or flossing
Abrupt sensitivity to hot and cold drinks or temperatures
or a toothache
·
Receding gums and loose teeth
·
Swelling of the face and cheeks, clicking of the jaw, and cracked or broken teeth during chewing or biting

Oral Health Issues

Cavities (tooth decay), gum (periodontal) disease, and oral cancer are some of the most common diseases affecting our oral health.
Cavities (Tooth Decay)
Cavities are caused by the breakdown of tooth enamel caused by acids produced by bacteria found in plaque that collects on teeth, particularly along the gumline and in crevices on the chewing surfaces. Consuming carbohydrates causes this bacteria to produce acids that can cause the outer coating of the tooth (enamel) or the root surface to deteriorate (demineralize).
Periodontal (Gum) Disease
In 2009-2014, approximately 4 in 10 adults aged 30 and up had gum (periodontal) diseases.5
Infections and inflammation of the gums and bone that surround and support the teeth cause gum disease. Diabetes, a weakened immune system, poor oral hygiene, and heredity all increase a person's risk for periodontal disease.
